Tell 'Em Tapes was established in 2016 in Columbia, MO with the sole objective to release high-quality, limited-run cassettes of underground music. In the digital age, sites like Bandcamp and Soundcloud help to encourage artists to release music freely and independently, but we saw the need to preserve these albums in the physical — in analog. To us, cassettes are as worthy a medium as CDs and LPs, and we pride ourselves on tapes that are not only collectible and novel, but excellent sounding products worthy of playback on Hi-Fi stereos as well as an old boombox.
